Stories in Paint
Some participants shared not just words, but entire journeys on canvas. These are their stories.

When I had a diagnosis of breast cancer last year, the world seemed dark and confusing. As the darkness lifted, I spent many moments reflecting on God, on life on death and eternity. The shades of purple. And Karura forest played/s a significant role giving refuge. A place to hide, heal and rage by turns. Each time I had chemo, the red dots, I ran to Karura for healing. Emerging to a world of blue skies where everyone else's life and world went on unchanged.
Participant — Colourful Connections

Blooming beyond the overgrown.
I interpret the doorway as a transition. Moving towards something new, something still budding, away from thoughts/habits that no longer serve me. That only stifle growth. The blooms are small, but vibrant.
